After obtaining a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Science) at King’s College London, UK, and MJDF (Membership of Joint Dental Faculties), UK, Dr Saerom has worked all over the world including London, Singapore and Sydney, to gain as much experience and insight into dentistry. Whilst working at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, she developed a special interest in treating children. Dr Saerom strongly believes that prevention is the key to long term oral health and is committed to provide oral health education for all her patients.

On her day off, she enjoys practising yoga and Pilates. Maybe that’s why she is always smiling.

Dr Lisa Liu completed her dental training at the University of Sydney. With a gentle and caring approach, she is dedicated to ensuring patients are well-informed and receive tailored treatment plans that reflect their personal needs and values.

During her studies, she has had the opportunity to work in both Sydney metropolitan hospitals and in Northern Rivers NSW, where she gained a broad range of clinical experience. Lisa believes that listening to patients’ concerns and forming genuine connections are a priority, and she always aims to achieve the best outcomes for all her patients. She is committed to life-long learning, and regularly attends workshops and conferences to better her skills and knowledge with the latest developments in dentistry.

Having grown up in Sydney, Lisa enjoys spending her free time in the sun, playing tennis when it’s not too hot, and trying new restaurants and art classes with family and friends.

A graduate from University of Sydney, Dr Charles Xu has over 10 years of clinical experience working in and around Sydney. Dr Charles has a special interest in cosmetic and complex restorative dentistry as well as root canal therapy and oral surgery.

Charles spends a few weeks away most years, travelling overseas to further his education. He attends the best courses and learns from the best mentors he can find around the world! Dr Xu’s working philosophy is to pay meticulous attention to detail and provide the highest quality of dental care. He believes in honesty and openness and encourages patients to ask questions.

Aside from dentistry, Dr Xu’s passions are photography, good coffee, and exercising to stay healthy after sitting in a dental chair all day.

Dr Yong Gi Hong received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney. He has practised dentistry in private clinics in Launceston, Tasmania, and Colac, Victoria, before joining us here at Experteeth Dental.

Dr Yong Gi Hong’s main goal is to ensure patient comfort and to provide top-quality dentistry. He has a particular interest in general dentistry, implants, and orthodontics. Dr Yong Gi strongly believes in the importance of preventive and conservative dentistry in maintaining good oral health for his patients and giving treatments with minimal intervention.

Dr Yong Gi was previously a high school teacher in New Zealand and is well known for his gentle, polite, and caring manner, which is particularly helpful when providing treatments to children – something he is especially suited to with his teaching background. His patients say that Dr Yong Gi is very honest and is a dentist you can trust.

Dr Yong Gi enjoys hiking, volunteering, and learning Mandarin. He is fluent in English and Korean
